Its predecessor — the PlayStation 4 — is one of the most popular gaming consoles of all time. Sony sold more than 106 million units as of January 2020. PlayStation 5 Price :

Sony is having significant troubles in keeping the cost of the PS5 down. It’s due to the cost of the components inside with DRAM and NAND flash memory in particular proving expensive what with smartphone manufacturers gearing up for their own next-gen devices.
PlayStation 5 Release Date :
While a specific date is yet to be revealed, Sony has confirmed that the PS5 release date is Holiday 2020. Sony has claimed that the coronavirus pandemic has not effected the expected late 2020 PS5 release date.
Either way, we expect to see a steady stream of PS5 information from this point forth, or perhaps it will be announced as part of the virtual GDC 2020 in August. The PlayStation 4 landed in November 2013, so we expect Sony’s next-gen console to land during a similar time-frame this year.
